Samuel Hernandez
Samuel Hernandez

Gabriele Rossi raised to 130,000 from early position and Samuel Hernandez jammed for 745,000 in the cutoff. The chip leader instantly called and Hernandez sighed when he saw the premium hand turned over on the other side of the table.

Samuel Hernandez: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Gabriele Rossi: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The kicker played on the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Hernandez was eliminated in 7th place. Rossi added another bounty to his resume of the day and holds a commanding lead over the rest of the field with six players remaining.

Rossi Continues Aggression

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Gabriele Rossi raised to 130,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Stefano Schiano called in the big blind with the {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The flop brought {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Schiano checked, Rossi checked back and the {3-Spades} turn paired the board.

Schiano checked once more and so did Rossi to see the {9-Spades} river. Schiano checked and Rossi bet 115,000 to win the pot.

Schiano and Corominas also won pots, while Kristian larsson and Ricardo Pinto have barely been involved in the action on the final table so far.

Schiano Pays Off Rossi

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Gabriele Rossi
Gabriele Rossi

Gabriele Rossi raised to 130,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} in the hijack and Ferran Corominas called with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} in the cutoff. On a {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, Rossi made it 130,000 to go and Corominas tossed in calling chips.

The {k-Spades} turn triggered a bet of 245,000 by Rossi and Corominas sent his cards into the muck.

Stefano Schiano opened to 130,000 with {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Rossi made the call in the big blind with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Rossi flopped best on {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and both players checked to the {8-Clubs} turn. A bet of 160,000 by Rossi resulted in the call by fellow countryman Schiano and the {4-Hearts} river was a blank.

Rossi bet 395,000 for half of the pot and Schiano used one of his time bank extensions, let the clock run down to five seconds and called to get shown the bad news.

Down to the last six players, Rossi now holds more than 50% of the chips in play.

Larsson Doubles Through de Jong

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Cornelis de Jong opened to 140,000 first to act with the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Kristian Larsson in the big blind glanced at the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Down to 905,000 after having paid the big blind ante, Larsson moved all in and de Jong immediately asked for a count.

After a few seconds, the Dutchman called and it was a classic flip for Larsson.

On the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop, Larsson took the lead and remained there with the {a-Spades} turn and {3-Clubs} river run out. De Jong dropped from second place towards the bottom of the pack.

Larsson Three-Bet Schiano

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Stefano Schiano opened the button to 180,000 with {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Kristian Larsson in the small blind three-bet to 365,000 with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Cornelis de Jong in the big blind folded the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Schiano also quickly folded.

One hand later, Schiano jammed the cutoff for 1,180,000 with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and Larsson with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} on the button asked for a count. Larsson tank-folded and de Jong let go of {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, as did Gabriele Rossi in the big blind with {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Ricardo Pinto eventually played his first hand on the final table and open-shoved with the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} first to act. Ferran Corominas folded {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} in the big blind and Pinto claimed the pot.

Larsson Builds Stack

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

First to act, Cornelis de Jong raised to 200,000 with the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Kristian Larsson defended the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} in the big blind. The flop brought {q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Larsson checked, quickly folded to a continuation bet of 200,000.

Larsson raised to 210,000 with the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Gabriele Rossi called in the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Rossi checked, Larsson continued for 360,000 and Rossi quickly folded.

Ricardo Pinto min-raised to 160,000 with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Stefano Schiano jammed for 1,400,000 with the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, which ended all further action right there.

Pinto Doubles Through Larsson; Doubles de Jong

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Cornelis de Jong
Cornelis de Jong

Kristian Larsson opened to 205,000 and Ricardo Pinto moved all in out of the big blind for 975,000. Larsson was sent into a world of pain and used two time banks before making the call.

Ricardo Pinto: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Kristian Larsson: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

On a {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} board, Pinto went from short stack to second in chips.

Exactly one hand later, Cornelis de Jong raised to 190,000 and Pinto jammed out of the small blind. De Jong called swiftly and the cards were turned over.

Cornelis de Jong: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Ricardo Pinto: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Spades} flop gave both players a pair, however, de Jong also had the nut flush draw as well. The {5-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river sent Pinto from hero back to almost zero as he had to fork over 1,495,000 to de Jong.
