David Arbel raised to 5,000 from middle position before Roman Stoica three-bet to 12,000 in the cutoff. Arbel called and they went heads-up to a 6♣6♦5♣ flop.
Arbel checked over to Stoica, who continued for 6,500. Arbel called once more and the 9♥ fell on the turn.
Arbel checked again, and this time Stoica fired out 22,000. Arbel quickly folded and Stoica took the pot.
Stoica had recently busted Zoltan Farkas from this table when Farkas moved all in with J♥9♥ on a 2♣6♥Q♥5♣ board. Stoica had him at risk with 4♥3♦ for a straight and Farkas couldn't complete his draw on the 4♣ river.

Silviu Baltateanu bet 5,000 from the big blind on a flop of 6♦5♣7♦ before Gusti Sas made it 16,000 in the hijack. Baltateanu came back with a reraise to 40,000 and Sas called.
The turn came the A♦ and Baltateanu moved all in for around 70,000. Sas snap-called and turned over 9♠8♥ for the flopped straight, while Baltateanu had 7♠5♥ for two pair.
The 4♠ fell on the river and Baltateanu tapped the felt before handing over the rest of his chips to Sas.
Abel Aspas bet 12,000 from the button on a flop of 6♥7♣5♠ and was called by a player in the big blind before Claudiu Paraschiv, in early position, raised to 52,000.
Aspas gave the decision some thought before moving all in for 140,000 and the big blind quickly folded. It was then Paraschiv's turn to tank before he decided to call, creating a more than 300,000 chip pot.

Aspas had outflopped Paraschiv with a set of fives and stayed in front on the 6♣ turn and A♦ river to earn the massive double up, dropping Paraschiv down to a short stack and making the 2022 888poker LIVE Madrid champion one of the chip leaders.
Three-handed on a flop of 6♦10♥8♦, Marius Gicovanu bet 20,000 before Gelu Sindilar moved all in for around 30,000. Action folded back to Gicovanu, who called to put Sindilar at risk.

Sindilar had flopped top two pair, but Giocvanu had him beat with a set of sixes. Sindilar couldn't fill up on the 5♣ turn or 3♦ river and Gicovanu took the pot to send him to the rail.

Sas called to see the K♥ river and checked once more. Paraschiv smiled and shook his head, checking behind and turning over two queens. His instincts proved correct, as Sas showed K♦J♦ for two pair on the river to take the pot.
Heads-up on a flop of 8♥7♠J♠, Constantin Borsaru bet 5,000 from the cutoff and Nicolae Balea called in the hijack.
The turn came the 7♣ and Borsaru bet another 11,000. Balea called again, and both players checked the 9♠ river.
Balea showed Borsaru the J♣, followed by the A♠ for two pair. Borsaru mucked his hand as Balea added to his big stack.
