David Ho moved all in for 24,000 in the cutoff as action folded to Matthew Eardley, who called from the big blind.

Eardley had Ho dominated, but the K♦J♠10♣ flop gave Ho a pair of tens and the lead. The 7♦ turn improved him to two pair, and he secured the double up following the J♦ river.

Aaron Barone, Josh Manley, Chin Fernando, and retired goalkeeper Ben Foster also took part.
Hubertus Querbach was in the big blind and had a raise to 10,000 in front of him before Nim Rattan four-bet to 30,000 in early position.
Querbach tanked for a minute before shoving all in for 50,000, and Rattan snap-called.

"I almost folded," Querbach said. The flop came A♥7♠4♥ and Rattan made top set to leave Querbach drawing to a miracle. None arrived on the 2♥ turn or 5♥ river and he was eliminated.
"Would you ever fold there," another tablemate asked Daniel Bedson.
"On Day 1 of the tournament? Never in a million years," Bedson replied.
Three-handed on a flop of Q♠6♥K♠, Ryan Otto bet 7,000 from the button and Francis Obadun called in the hijack, as did a player in the cutoff.
All three players checked the 9♠ turn. The river came the 8♣ and Obadun led out for 26,000.
The cutoff folded, but Otto snap-called and turned over 6♣6♠ for a flopped set. Obadun showed him 4♠3♠ for a turned flush as he took the pot.

Ion Bivol and Florian Duta got the rest of Duta's short stack of around 10,000 in the middle in a blind versus blind battle.

Duta hit the J♦ on the turn, but it was followed by 7♥9♣ as Bivol made two pair. The board ran out 5♥A♥ and Duta was sent to the rail.
Paul Rigg and Joe Newby were heads-up on a flop of 10♠2♥3♣ when Rigg bet 4,500 from the hijack. Newby called in the cutoff and the 6♣ fell on the turn.
Rigg then bet another 15,000 and Newby called. The river was the A♣ and Rigg fired out another 22,000, leaving himself around 7,000 behind.
Newby immediately moved all in and Rigg snap-folded to a round of laughs from the table, including from Rigg.
Charles Chattha took another attempt at busting a player when, in the big blind, he called Alicja Muszynska's shove for around 25,000 from the cutoff.

It was Chattha's turn to take king-queen against ace-jack in an all-in situation, but, unlike Daniel Bedson earlier, he didn't connect with the 2♥4♠10♠ flop. The turn came the 2♠ and Muszynska was a card away from a double up, but the K♥ fell on the river and Chattha made two pair to send her to the rail.
Niall Farrell, Ian Simpson, and Jose Aguilers were also recently eliminated.
Day 1d, the fourth and final starting flight of the Main Event, has begun with 53 players currently seated at a table.
