Man Frustrates Buivydas, Knocks Out Geilich

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Ludovic Geilich
Ludovic Geilich

Ludovic Geilich fell down to less than 10,000 and got the rest of his chips in on a flop of J2K as Mantas Buivydas and Ka Wai Man both called.

The turn came the 6 and Buivydas and Man checked to the Q river. Buivydas checked in early position and Man fired out 10,000.

Buivydas shot back in his chair and began muttering to himself before he angrily flung his cards across the table. Man then turned over A10 for the rivered nut flush and Geilich flashed 107 for a turned flush before heading for the rail.

Bedson Flops the Nuts on Chattha

Level 11 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Charles Chattha raised to 3,800 in early position before Daniel Bedson moved all in for around 25,000 on the button. Chattha tanked for a moment before calling.

Daniel Bedson: KQ
Charles Chattha: AJ

Bedson was behind, but not for long as the 109J flop gave him the nut straight. Chattha ended up with trips on the 3J runout but it wasn't enough to avoid handing over the pot.

Jones' Instincts Go Wrong This Time

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Nathan Jones made a tough call earlier with pocket jacks, and he was just put in another difficult position in a pot against Ryan Otto.

There was already around 50,000 in the middle on a completed board of K7A9J when Otto moved all in for 83,400 in the big blind. Jones was in early position and went deep into the tank.

He ripped off his headphones and spent several minutes shaking his head and staring at the board. Otto remained silent, looking down at the table as Jones continued to consider the decision.

Jones invited the table to call the clock, but nobody did and he eventually called. Otto then turned over 77 for a set and Jones mucked A3.

Watts Turns Out the Lights on Spittles

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Steven Watts raised to 2,500 under the gun and Garry Wilson called in early position. Ryan Spittles then shoved all in for 18,000 in the hijack, Watts reshoved, and Wilson folded.

Ryan Spittles: AQ
Steven Watts: 88

Spittles picked up a straight draw on the K510 flop to go with his overcards, but neither arrived on the 4 turn or 6 river and Watts took the pot to send Spittles to the rail.

Watson Flips Out Morton-Monaghan

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Wendy Watson
Wendy Watson

John Bousfield raised to 2,500 under the gun and Lewis Morton-Monaghan called in middle position. Action then folded to Wendy Watson who three-bet to 15,000 in the small blind. Bousfield folded, but Morton-Monaghan moved all in and Watson snap-called.

Lewis Morton-Monaghan: AK
Wendy Watson: JJ

The two players had nearly identical stacks and were flipping for their respective tournament lives as the board ran out 57393. Morton-Monaghan couldn't catch up and Watson took the pot with her jacks.

Morton-Monaghan counted his stack of 40,000 and Watson barely had him covered as he headed off to the rail.

Boyle Holds On in Four-Way All In

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A four-way all in was brewing as Nicholas Davies was all in for 15,000 in early position, Mirang Patel had his last 17,000 in from middle position, Garrett Boyle was all in on the cutoff for 12,000, and Chase Wilson was in the big blind having all three players covered.

Nicholas Davies: AJ
Mirang Patel: 109
Garrett Boyle: KK
Chase Wilson: 77

"Lucky sevens. I know they're out there," Wilson said as Boyle stood up and began filming the action. The flop came 548, giving Davies a flush draw and Wilson a straight draw.

"Six or a seven," Wilson pleaded, but the board ran out Q4 and Boyle's kings stayed in front. He doubled up off Wilson, while Davies and Patel were both sent to the rail in the side pot.
