Javier Zarco raised it up from the hijack and Hong Pham flat-called in the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of K♠7♦3♦ and Zarco continued with a bet of 6,000. Pham just called and the 8♠ rolled off on the turn.
Zarco tossed in another bet of 17,000 and Pham stuck around for the 2♣ on the river. Zarco checked this time and Pham put together a bet of 55,000. Zarco flicked in a call and Pham turned over K♦Q♦ for the best hand to claim the pot.
Chris Williams opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Patrick Donohoe shoved all in for 22,000 on his left. Peter Sweeney reraised to 55,000 in the hijack and the action folded back to Williams who moved all in. Sweeney paused for a moment before sticking in the last of his 130,000 chips.
Patrick Donohoe: K♣J♥
Peter Sweeney: A♣Q♠
Chris Williams: Q♥Q♦
The flop came 5♣2♠2♥ and Williams was still holding a comfortable lead with his pair of queens. The 4♣ on the turn gave Sweeney a wheel draw but the 7♦ on the river was a brick.
"CT" opened to 6,500 from under the gun and was called by Vamshi Vandanapu in the hijack and "PO" in the big blind. The flop came 6♣5♣4♣ and the action checked around to the 6♠ on the turn.
"PO" led out with a bet of 9,000 and "CT" just called. Vandanapu moved all in for around 40,000 and "PO" also pushed all in for around 80,000. "CT" leaned back in his chair and then opted to put his A♠A♣ in the muck.
"PO" flipped over Q♣10♣ for a flush and Vandanapu was left drawing slim with A♦6♦. The river was the 7♠ and Vandanapu was sent to the rail.
Vivian Saliba was the last 888poker ambassador in the field with the early eliminations of Ricardo Mateus and Lucia Navarro. However, on the first hand back from break, Saliba's short stack could not survive any longer as she headed to the rail short of the money.

Jiaze Li and Lin Chen were heads-up in a three-bet pot with around 70,000 in the middle. The flop came 8♥7♥5♥ and Li led out with a bet of 23,000 from the small blind. Chen moved all in for 159,500 in early position and Li asked for a count. After using a time bank, Li made the call and the cards were on their backs.
Lin Chen: 9♠9♣
Jiaze Li: A♠A♣
Li was out front with his pair of aces but Chen still had a few outs in the deck. The 2♦ on the turn and the 3♣ on the river changed nothing and Li's pocket aces held on to extend his chip lead.
