Mateus Falls Victim to Molina's Ladies
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Iwan Molina raised to 7,000 on the button, Ricardo Mateus moved all in for 31,000 in the small blind, and Molina called.
Ricardo Mateus: A♦9♣
Iwan Molina: Q♣Q♦
Molina had woken up with queens to leave the 888poker team member at risk, then spiked top set on the Q♥9♠4♠ flop to leave Mateus drawing incredibly thin. The rest of the board ran out 10♠6♦ and Molina took the pot to send Mateus to the rail, boosting his stack up past 300,000.
