It's Just Hoidahl's Day
Level 14
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dan Hoidahl raised to 11,500 under the gun and Yakiv Syzghanov three-bet to 80,000 on the button, leaving around 10,000 behind. Hoidahl tanked for a few minutes before moving all in and Syzghanov quickly put in his last chips.
Yakiv Syzghanov: A♠10♣
Dan Hoidahl: 9♥9♦
The A♦ fell in the window to give Syzghanov a pair, but it was followed by Q♥9♣ as Hoidahl spiked a set. The rest of the board ran out 6♠2♣ and Syzghanov was eliminated near the end of the night.
"It's your day," tablemate Bogdan Pop said to Hoidahl after the hand.
"It is," Hoidahl agreed.
