Maranca Lays a Trap For McConachie

Francisco Maranca limped in from the hijack before David McConachie raised to 1,100. Maranca called and the flop came A♦4♠9♣.

Maranca then led out for 1,000 and McConachie called. Maranca bet another 2,000 on the K♣ turn and McConachie again called.

The river was the 5♣ and Maranca slowed down and checked. McConachie then bet 7,000 and Maranca quickly called.

"Ace is good," McConachie said as he showed Q♠10♣. Maranca didn't just have one ace, he turned over A♥A♠ for a set to win the pot.
