Petit Shows an Ace; Larsson in a Gambling Mood to Bust Dantas

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Sergio Dantas
Sergio Dantas

Leo Petit bet 1,600 from the hijack on a flop of AJ4 and the big blind called.

The turn was the K and Petit bet another 10,000. His opponent again called to see the A river, where Petit moved all in for 35,900. His opponent tanked for several minutes before folding as Petit showed him the A while taking the pot.

There was one hand left to play before dinner break. "It's my big blind, so see you guys later," Sergio Dantas said, imploring the rest of the table to fold. Kristian Larsson didn't oblige and instead raised to 3,200 on the button.

"You again. I'll see you outside. Do you run fast?" Dantas joked as he moved all in for 17,300.

"Okay, let's gamble," Larsson said before calling.

Kristian Larsson: 42

Dantas hit top pair on the K27 flop, but Larsson improved to two pair on the 4 turn. The river was the 5 and Dantas was sent to the rail.

Gucevicius' Turn to Survive on the River

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jonas Gucevicius moved all in for 15,400 from early position and Fernando Vecino put him at risk in the small blind.

Jonas Gucevicius: A10 All in
Fernando Vecino: AJ

Gucevicius was dominated and fell further behind on the AJ5 flop as Vecino hit top two pair. The turn was the K, while the Q river gave Gucevicius a straight and earned him a double up.

"When you're all in, you should do this," tablemate Nil Esteve told Gucevicius, pretending to stand up from his seat. "When you do this, it gives you double odds," he added.

Aleksander Falch
Aleksander Falch

Aleksander Falch bet 15,000 from the cutoff on a board of 4A38 and a player on the button called.

The river was the 10 and Falch bet 50,000. His opponent took a minute before moving all in for around 60,000, and Falch snap-called.

The button showed Q4 for a pair of fours, but Falch had 83 for two pair to win the pot and send his opponent to the rail.

"I would call €500,000, cash, with that hand. He can never have me beat," Falch said.

Fatch Finishes Off Palacios, Then Negotiations Begin

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Aleksander Falch three-bet to 10,000 in the hijack and Oriol Palacios put in his last 16,000 on the button. The rest of the table folded and Falch called.

Oriol Palacios: KQ All in
Aleksander Falch: A4

Palacios missed the 947610 board while Falch hit a pair of fours to win the pot and send Palacios to the rail.

"Rebuy?" Falch asked him.

"Not today," Palacios replied.

"Do you want a 50 percent stake?" Falch added.

"What is your offer?" Palacios replied.

"I'll pay 50 percent of your buy-in," Falch said, but Palacios turned him down. "Alright, you had a choice," Falch added as Palacios headed to the rail.
