Bellmunt Blows Santos Off an Ace WIth Massive Shove

There was around 45,000 in the middle as Pol Bellmunt and Sergio Santos saw a flop of AJ2. Bellmunt then bet 11,500 from the button and Santos called in the hijack.

The turn was the 4 and Bellmunt bet another 31,500. Santos again called and the 3 fell on the river. Bellmunt then announced all in.

Santos still had around 150,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes before flashing the A and tossing it into the muck.

The A on the turn gave the at-risk player a straight, but it also improved Martinsson to a flush and left his opponent drawing dead. The river was the 10 and Martinsson scored the knockout.

Ian Simpson raised to 5,000 in middle position, Nick Eastwood three-bet to 12,100 in the hijack, and Simpson called.

The flop came 1052 and Eastwood continued for 14,100. Simpson then moved all in for 46,000.

Eastwood spent several minutes in the tank, rechecking his cards a few times before sending them into the muck.

"I thought I was being slow rolled," Simpson said as he took the pot.

"You definitely had the best hand," Eastwood replied.

At the same time at another table, Pedro Gonzalez was all in for 53,500 from early position and an opponent on the button called to put him at risk.

Gonzalez had woken up with aces and stayed in front through the 99Q410 board to earn the double up.

Gucevicius bet another 8,400 on the 884 flop and Larsson again called. Both players then checked the K turn.

The river was the 7 and Gucevicius moved all in for 34,000. Larsson spent a few minutes in the tank before giving up his hand as Gucevicius took down the pot.

The river was the 3 and Perez led out for 25,000. Roca spent a minute in the tank before min-raising to 50,000. It was then Perez's turn to tank, as he took several minutes before flicking in a chip to call.

Roca turned over A3 for a full house and Perez mucked to surrender the pot to the past WSOP Europe champion.
