Peluso Has a Dream Start

Level 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Fabio Peluso raised to 10,000 under the gun and Andrea Mussumarra three-bet to 35,000 in middle position. The table folded back to Peluso who moved all in for 60,000 and Mussumarra snap-called.

Fabio Peluso: AA All in
Andrea Mussumarra: AK

Peluso had woken up with aces, but Mussumarra picked up a flush draw on the 1085 flop. The 10 turn was safe for Peluso, while the river was the 6 and he wiped his brow and raked in his early double up.

Further down the leaderboard are YouTuber Inaki Angulo (197,500), Gabi Livshitz (121,500), WSOP Europe champion Marti Roca (107,000), and Adam Martinsson (90,000). Aaron Barone (349,500) and Vivian Saliba (299,500) are representing the 888poker team in today’s field.

The first three starting flights saw a total of 365 entries. They’ll be joined by players from the turbo Day 1d flight that began at 11 a.m. and is currently ongoing. Late registration is also open until the start of the day, so the field can potentially grow much larger by the time the prize pool is confirmed. The action picks up on Level 15 with blinds of 2,500/5,000 and a 5,000 big blind ante, and levels will again be 40 minutes long. Play is scheduled to go down to the final table by the end of the day.

Stay tuned as PokerNews follows all the action throughout the day. The feature table will also be streamed on 888poker’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, featuring commentary from David Tuchman.
