Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Matthew Davenport has claimed another knockout victim as he continues his last-night surge up the leaderboard, and this time it was Steven Quinn.

Viktor Katzenberger

James Mcaulay raised to 5,500 under the gun and Chen Cheng called in the hijack. Viktor Katzenberger then three-bet to 18,000 on the button and both opponents called.

Katzenberger continued for 12,500 on the Q74 flop and Mcaulay quickly folded. Cheng, though, put in a raise to 36,000 to send Katzenberger deep into the tank.

Katzenberger considered the decision for a few minutes until moving all in for 55,000. Cheng asked for a count and also tanked for a moment until eventually calling.

Chen Cheng: J10

Katzenberger had gotten Cheng to call with just jack-high as he was a big favorite to double up. The rest of the board ran out 56 and Cheng handed over the big pot.
