Reza Mostafavita raised to 4,000 under the gun and was called by Mitchell Johnson in the hijack and Andrew Hulme in the cutoff before Harry Sandford three-bet to 25,000 on the button. Sebastien Jung then moved all in for 27,000 in the big blind, and only Sandford called.
Sebastien Jung: J♠J♣
Harry Sandford: K♥Q♠
Jung fell behind on the Q♥8♠4♠ flop as Sandford hit top pair. The rest of the board came A♥9♠ and Jung was sent to the rail.
At another table, Alex O'Brien had moved all in for 55,700 from the big blind and Joe Hindry put her at risk in the small blind.
Alex O'Brien: A♦Q♠
Joe Hindry: Q♣Q♦
O'Brien was already standing up from her seat after Hindry turned over his queens, but the flop brought J♥K♣10♠ to give O'Brien the nut straight. The rest of the board ran out 3♦K♠ and O'Brien doubled up.
Mario Trattou raised to 3,600 in the cutoff and was called by Noam De Frettes and Paul Ephremsen in the blinds.
The flop came A♥2♦K♠ and Trattou bet 5,000. Only De Frettes called and the J♠ fell on the turn.
Trattou then bet 10,000 and De Frettes again called. The river was the 10♣ and De Frettes moved all in for 60,500.
Trattou picked up his cards and slammed them on the table as he went into the tank. "That can only be queen-jack. I have two pair," he said to De Frettes, who nodded his head in agreement.
Trattou eventually threw A♦10♦ into the muck, and De Frettes showed him the K♥ as he took the pot.
Andrei Teodorescu had a raise of 5,300 in front of him from middle position before Shan Jiang moved all in for 30,000 in the cutoff. Yifan Zheng then reshoved for 65,500 in the small blind, and Teodorescu folded.
Shan Jiang: A♦J♦
Yifan Zheng: 10♠10♦
Jiang picked up a flush draw on the 9♦6♦4♥ flop to go with his overcards, but he couldn't connect with the 8♣ turn or 7♠ river as Zheng improved to a straight to send Jiang to the rail.
At another table, Lucas Alexander had opened to 3,300 in middle positon and Khanh Nguyen called in the cutoff. Philip Corion then moved all in for 28,000 on the button, Alexander called, and Nguyen also put in his last 25,000.
Khanh Nguyen: A♠J♣
Philip Corion: 6♣5♣
Lucas Alexander: K♥Q♦
The J♠8♥5♥ flop gave Nguyen and Corion pairs, while Nguyen was ahead with his aces. Nguyen improved to two pair on the A♣ turn, while the 2♠ fell on the river and Nguyen took the pot to triple up, while Corion took the small side pot.
More than 30,000 was already in the middle as Stephen Bean and David McConachie went to the turn on a board of 2♦6♠7♥K♥. Bean then bet 10,500 from the small blind.
McConachie instantly splashed in a raise to 30,400 from the hijack. Bean, who won the Crazy 8 opening event earlier this week, took a minute before flashing the J♥ and mucking.
Dongze Hao raised to 3,200 in the hijack and Ali Abdulzahra called in the cutoff. Jesus Ramos then moved all in for 23,000 on the button and Hao called. Abdulzahra, though, reshoved for 94,800 and Hao snap-called, creating a massive pot with more than 200,000 in the middle.
Jesus Ramos: A♠Q♦
Dongze Hao: Q♥Q♣
Ali Abdulzahra: J♥J♣
Hao was ahead with his queens, but Abdulzahra hit a set on the K♣J♦7♦ flop to take the lead. The turn was the 9♠, while the K♠ river improved Abdulzahra to a full house and earned him the pot.
The stacks were counted down and Abdulzahra barely had Hao covered, sending both opponents to the rail.
