Serrano Spikes the River to Bust Mengouchi in Massive Pot

Abraham Serrano limped in from under the gun and Nazariy Piznak came along from the hijack. Mourad Mengouchi then raised to 4,000 in the big blind and only Serrano called.

The flop came Q♥6♦K♦ and Mengouchi bet 5,600. Serrano then moved all in and pat Mengouchi on the back as Mengouchi buried his head in his hands before sliding in his last 70,000.

Serrano showed down top set, while Mengouchi had a pair and flush draw. The 2♦ fell on the turn to give Mengouchi his flush, but Serrano spiked the K♥ on the river to make quads and send Mengouchi, who had been sitting on a big stack most of the day, crashing to the rail.
