Gallagher Has the Better King
Level 7
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
David Gallagher raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and David Docherty called in the big blind.
Gallagher continued for 6,000 on the K♣6♥4♦ flop, and Docherty called. Both players checked the 9♠ turn.
Docherty then led out for 10,000 on the 9♥ river, and Gallagher snap-called. Docherty showed K♠10♥, but Gallagher had K♦J♣ and took the pot with his jack-kicker.
