Dean Lyall Seeks Another Major 888poker Live Glasgow Title on Day 2 of the £1,650 High Roller

Dean Lyall
Dean Lyall

A year ago, Dean Lyall came to his home casino and took down the inaugural 888poker Live Glasgow Main Event title. He’s now back in action and poised to make a run at another trophy on the final day of the £1,650 High Roller.

Lyall begins the day inside the top five with 487,000 as 18 players return to the Grosvenor Casino Merchant City at noon local time to play down to a champion. He and the rest of the field are looking far up at massive chip leader Paul McAulay, who is more than 300,000 clear of everyone else with 865,000.

Dean Hutchison (536,000), Peter Stewart (517,000), and Robbie Bull (461,000) round out the top five. Brandon Sheils (304,000) and Michael Kane (236,000) are also returning for Day 2, as are three members of the 888poker team led by Lucia Navarro (326,000). Ian Simpson (286,000) and Vivian Saliba (245,000) are further down the leaderboard.

The event has attracted 59 entries so far, but that number should increase as late registration remains open until the start of the day. The official prize pool with a £100,000 guarantee should be announced shortly after the start of play.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 13 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante. Levels remain 40 minutes, with a break after every three levels. The plan is to play down to a winner later today. The feature table will be streamed on the 888poker official YouTube channel.

Stay tuned as PokerNews covers all the action and provides live updates up to the crowning of a champion.
