Macleod Holds to Double Off Stewart; Navarro Falls in a Flip to McAulay
Level 14
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Peter Stewart raised to 20,000 under the gun and was called by Paul McAulay on the button and Steven Macleod in the big blind.
All three players checked the K♣9♦2♠ flop. Stewart then bet 22,000 on the Q♣ turn and McAulay folded, but Macleod moved all in for 65,000. Stewart took a few seconds before calling.
Macleod showed Q♥10♥ for a pair of queens, while Stewart had A♣10♣ for straight and flush draws. "Come on, royal flush draw," Macleod told him. The Q♠ fell on the river to improve Macleod to trips, and he secured the double up.
McAulay recently busted Lucia Navarro when his sevens held up against her ace-queen in a preflop race.
