: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Paul McAulay raised to 85,000 under the gun and Dean Hutchison defended A♦5♦.
McAulay bet 100,000 on the 8♦7♣6♠ flop and Hutchison called. The 2♦ fell on the turn and McAulay bet another 225,000. Hutchison again called with his straight and flush draws.
The river was the 10♠ and Hutchison led out for 500,000. McAulay showed him K♠K♥ as he tossed his cards into the muck.
The next hand, Ian Simpson raised to 80,000 on the button and Hutchison three-bet to 320,000 in the small blind with K♦6♦. Simpson folded J♠3♠, and Hutchison took another pot to move into the chip lead.
