Jesus Ramos Leads the Team on Day 2 of the 888poker Live Glasgow Main Event
The race to the money and ultimately the final table is on when Day 2 of the 888poker Live Glasgow £888 Main Event begins at 5 p.m local time.
A total of 60 players have already secured their spots for the event’s penultimate day, with more to come in the turbo Day 1d flight that is ongoing. Brandon Sheils leads the field with 393,000, followed by Jake Collins (353,000) and Mini Main Event champion Gaoyang Yang (319,000).

Defending champion Dean Lyall comes back with 182,500 in search of a back-to-back run, while Nicholas Swann (225,500) and the poker power couple of Matthew (116,500) and Sinead Davenport (106,500) are also among the top stacks.
Four members of the 888poker team will be in action on Day 2, led by Jesus Ramos with 217,500. He’s followed by Vivian Saliba (150,500), Darius Wajda (51,000), and Nick Eastwood (44,000). Further down the leaderboard are Dean Hutchison (85,500), Michael Kane (79,500), Jack Hardcastle (68,000), and Robbie Bull (54,000).
The first three starting flights have built a field of 277 entries so far. There are also 51 players currently registered in the Day 1d flight that began at 11 a.m. Late registration also remains open until the start of Day 2, so the field should grow larger by the time the official prize pool is determined.
The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 15 with blinds of 1,500/3,000 and a 3,000 big blind ante. Levels are once again 40 minutes long. Play is scheduled to go down to the final table today. All the action will be streamed on 888poker’s official YouTube channel.
