Kane Isolates His Opponents

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sue Rios and Curtis Kane both limped in and Christine Holubeck shoved all in for 6,600 on the button. Benjamin Brown called from the small blind as did Rios. Kane had other plans though, as he re-shoved all in, forcing Brown and Rios out.

Curtis Kane: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Christine Holubeck: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Spades} missing Holubeck completely and sending the pot to Kane.

Fisher Goes Back to Back on Bustamp

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

After Ray Lambert limped in from under the gun, Niko Bustamp raised to 7,000 from the cutoff. Richard Fisher pushed all in for 15,700 on the button and the action folded back to Bustamp who called.

Fisher was slightly ahead with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} against the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of Bustamp. The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Fisher scored himself a double up.

In the next hand, Bustamp moved all in for his last 17,300 and Fisher quickly re-shoved over the top. Ray Lambert asked for a count and thought for a minute before finally folding.

Fisher was ahead again with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} against Bustamp's {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}. The flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} gave both players a pair, Fisher's being the largest. The {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing as Bustamp headed to the rail.

Bad Runout for Beatty

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Cheri Beatty opened to 4,000 from early position and the hijack three-bet to 12,000. The action folded back to Beatty who just called to see a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Beatty checked to her opponent who continued for 14,000 and Beatty called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Beatty thought for a moment and then checked again which was followed by a quick check from her opponent. Beatty tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} which proved to be the winner.

Rios Spikes the River to Double Up

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three players were in the hand with around 17,000 in the middle already. The flop came {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Tom Cohen was the first to lead out for 10,200. Sue Rios called from the hijack and the button announced all in. Cohen thought long and hard but decided to fold, whereas Rios tossed in a single chip to call.

Sue Rios: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Button: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}

Rios currently held the best hand but was up against a huge combo draw. Her opponent took the lead when the {8-Clubs} landed on the turn but the {2-Diamonds} on the river gave Rios a straight and doubled her stack.
