Shin Takes Some From Lunardi

When we arrived at Table 5, there was a {j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop out on the felt and it was a blind versus blind situation between John Shin and Kristian Lunardi. A check came from both players, with Lunardi in the small blind, and the dealer would flip over a {9-Spades} on the turn.

Both players again checked here and a {10-Spades} completed the board on the river. This time when Lunardi checked, Shin would bet 3,300 and Lunardi would call. Shin tabled his {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, with the rivered straight enough to take the pot off Lunardi.
