The Final Snowfest Day One Set to Begin

Here we are again in the SKYCITY Queenstown Casino for continued action of the 2012 Australia New Zealand Poker Tour Queenstown Snowfest Main Event.
This is it. The third and final day one flight. The last chance for players to secure a Day 2 berth. Plenty of the best players from around the region have been spotted around the town, but are yet to take to the tables, so you can be sure they will be at the felt today. Some of these include Australian Poker Hall of Fame members, Leo Boxell and Lee Nelson.
All the players today will be chasing David Allan's Day 1a chip lead of 98,200. Allan led a capacity field of 51 players, while Day 1b featured 49. That means if we hit 50 entries today, we will hit the magical total entries of 150 - a huge success and a number which smashes last years 127-player field. Regardless of the end-result today, the 2012 ANZPT Queenstown event will become the largest in it's history.
