We just noticed previous ANZPT champion Octavian Voegele making his way out of the tournament area. No luck for him here in Sydney, he will have to be content with his 2011 ANZPT Adelaide victory.

When the action folded to Martin Kozlov on the button, he threw out a bet of 800. That was enough for a min-raise during the previous blind level, but in this level it was only good for less than half a min-raise. The dealer ruled that Kozlov must throw out at least 1,200. Levy noted that due to the small nature of the amount, it should in fact be deemed a call. Eventually the correct ruling was made and it was deemed that Kozlov made the call.
Levy then called from the small blind and Mishel Anunu tapped the table in the big blind. As the

flop was dealt Kozlov said, "angle shooting." Levy replied by saying, "Yeah, im treading carefully now."
On the flop, the play was checked to Kozlov who bet 1,050. This prompted Levy to fold, while Anunu made the call. The
on the turn would see both players check as the
completed the board on the river. Anunu again checked and Kozlov threw out 1,875. A call from Anunu would see Kozlov turn over his
, his turned pair of kings enough to send Anunu's cards into the muck.

It all started with a limp from the under the gun player. Grant Levy was then in late position when he made it 1,900 to go. Jackson Zheng made the call from the big blind and so too did the limper.
All three players checked down the

flop and the
was dealt on the turn. This time Zheng would lead for 3,000 and the under the gun player would make the call, while Levy would get out of the way.
The
on the river would see Zheng continue his aggression, throwing out 5,800. This was enough to send his opponent's cards into the muck to take down the handy little pot.

Prominent young poker player Brendon Rubie has just been spotted heading out the door. Rubie never seemed to gain any momentum, hovering at well under the starting stack for much of the evening.
