The entries for today has increased to 246. That brings the total number to 450, making it the second highest ANZPT Sydney Main Event of all time.
When we wandered out to the Oasis Room, Australian Poker Hall of Fame member David Gorr was busy opening a pot to 550. He would get no action as the whole table sent their cards into the muck.
When the pot was sent Gorr's way, he turned over
. Dennis Huntly was a couple of seats across when he noticed the aces and said, "you must get sick of having them David."
Just like yesterday, there are plenty of players out in the Oasis Room. Here is how some of the familiar faces out there are looking.
Patrick Healy will have to be content with his 2012 Aussie Million Main Event final table, as he has been eliminated here on day 1b of the ANZPT Sydney Main Event.
It all started when a player opened it to 500 from middle position. The player directly on his left made the call and then it was on Healy who put in a min-raise. The action was then sent flying around to the original aggressor who made it 3,500 to go. The other player got out of the way and it was back on Healy who had only a touch under 4,000 left. A few moments passed and Healy committed the remainder of his chips. A few extra chips were thrown into the middle for a call and the two players turned their hands over.

and it was all over for Healy as he made his way out of the tournament area.
When we came to Raemin "Jake the Moose" Alexander's table there was a flop showing

and Alexander was first to act in the hand against Martin Drewe. Alexander opted to bet 825 and a call from Drewe would see the
roll off on the turn. Both players checked here and the
completed the board on the river. Another tap on the table from Alexander and the same from Drewe and the action was over.
When Alexander revealed his
, it was enough to see Drewe's cards into the muck as Alexander would add some chips to the pile which is protected by his trademark moose figurine.

Over on Gary Benson's table we noticed he was in the big blind, and both he and the player on the button were committing 4,250 preflop.

Benson was first to act on the flop and simply said a slight, "all in." This was enough to quickly send his opponent's cards into the muck as he took down the handy pot.
