Karan Punjabi Eliminated in 16th Place (NZ$5,325)

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Amant Nauhria opened from under the gun to 13,000 and Karan Punjabi bumped it to 30,000 next to speak. The table folded back to Nauhria who took a glance at his opponent stack of about 150,000 and announced all in. Punjabi didn’t hesitate to call and the cards were on their backs!

Nauhria: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Punjabi: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Punjabi’s rail were calling for a lady but the board would run out {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Spades}. Punjabi had looked very solid throughout but the cooler sends him to the rail in 16th place as Nauhria is now our chip leader with around 600,000 in chips.
