We just found Jackie Glazier, winning a pot pre-flop, and getting back up to her starting stack of 20,000 in chips.
She started the hand by opening to 650 from the hijack, before being met with a raise to 1,750. She quickly grabbed 3,100 and splashed it into the middle, forcing a fold from her opponent.
Glazier recently won the ANZPT Sydney PLO side event, just this past week, and will be looking to continue her good form with another deep run in the main event.
Paul Wilson just let us know how he eliminated Kristian Lunardi from the tournament. It started with him opening with a bet of 750 which was called by Lunardi on the button.
The flop came and Wilson continued with a bet of 825, which was called. On the turn, Wilson checked and Lunardi bet out 2,250 in chips. Wilson re-raised to 6,000 and was instantly met with an all-in for 12,000, which he snap-called.
Wilson:
Lunardi:
Lunardi had turned the queen-high straight, but it was behind to the nut-straight held by Wilson. The on the river was no help as Lunardi made his way out of the tournament floor, leaving Wilson to move up 26,000 in chips.
