Cox Sends Double to Sekuloski

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Cox opened from middle position to 23,000 and Denis Sekuloski almost immediately shoved him on. The action folded around to Cox and after receiving a count of having to call 88,000 more he threw out the amount and showed the {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and he was flipping against the {A-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Sekuloski. The flop came {K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} pairing Sekuloski. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Spades} on the river was no help to Cox as Sekuloski doubles to 240,000 and Cox drops to 350,000.

Ruse Out, Hsu Still Moving Up

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Four players went to the flop of {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and the action checked to Li-ta Hsu who be 36,000. Brendan Ruse thought for a moment before shoving all in for over 250,000. The two other players folded leaving the decision for Hsu to call for around half his stack. Hsu went into the tank for four minutes before calling with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and he had his opponent crushed who held the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The turn {5-Clubs} ensured it would be a sweat as Ruse picked up straight outs, but the {A-Clubs} on the river gave Hsu the knock out as he moves up to 800,000.

Kilner's Bust Hands

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The battle between the blinds saw Murray Roach all in for 209,000 with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} against the {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} of Jordan Kilner.

The flop gave Kilner hope as the {Q-Spades} was exposed in the window but when the cards were slid sideways it exposed a {K-Diamonds} and {9-Clubs} to put Roach back in the lead. The turn {2-Spades} and river {5-Diamonds} changed nothing as Roach moves to 430,000 and Kilner drops to 60,000.

Two hands later and Kilner was on the rail after moving in with his last 58,000 and being called by Guangqi Zhang in the small blind. It was Kilner’s {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts} against Zhang’s {A-Spades}{7-Hearts} on the board of {7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Kilner suffered the double blow to be eliminated whilst Zhang moves up to 500,000.

Seal's Lucky Double

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Emanuel 'Curly' Seal was down to 81,000 when he shoved all in from middle position. Tom Rafferty called from the button and Seal found himself at-risk and in trouble with {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} against {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Seal was up out of his seat and ready to exit, but then sat back down when the dealer spread out a {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board to send him the double.

Rafferty is still one of the chip leaders.

Parkhill Roller Coaster Rides Home

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Alistair Parkhill has just felt the full effects of the rollercoaster that is poker.

Rined Namrood raised from early position to 23,000 and it was met with a shove from the small blind by Parkhill for a little over 60,000. Namrood made the call showing the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and it was a race as Parkhill had the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The flop of {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} put Namrood ahead with trip aces but the turn {9-Spades} gave Parkhill a full house and he was back in the lead.

The table and rail moaned in astonishment as the {10-Clubs} river fell giving Namrood a bigger full house that eliminated Parkhill.

Namrood has now climbed to 250,000.
