Sharpe Gone, Down to 19

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ciaran Sharpe has hit the rail.

We caught up with the action with Sharpe the all-in player and at-risk holding the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} against Wilison Li’s {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

The flop produced a straight draw for Sharpe with the {10-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the turn {6-Clubs} made a massive sweat with Sharpe also having flush outs. Howver, the {10-Diamonds} on the river was no help to Sharpe.

Li received just under a full double up to 350,000 whilst Sharpe was eliminated in 20th place.

The Time for Banter

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

As the players are closing in on bigger pay outs the tension and banter between players is beginning to show.

The action folded to Denis Sekuloski on the button who raised to 35,000. The small blind folded and Dimitrios Psaros shoved all in from the big blind for 270,000. Sekuloski went into the tank for a few minutes, counted out the chips and held them to the side but found a fold.

“I will show a bluff,” Psaros announced and turned over the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

“I will get you next time, I promise you,” Sekuloski responded.

“Show some balls next time and you might!” answered Psaros as he stacked his chips.

Liew's lucky double

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Chung Liew has found himself a very handy double up. From the small blind, Liew moved all in for his last 143,000 with a pretty looking {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} but Ben Cox made the call in the big blind with a superior {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Liew was a chance to be boosted to the rail but the board ran out a very kind {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades} to give Liew the jackpot with trip sevens for a nice double up to over 300,000.

Namrood Building Big Stack

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded to Ben Cox in middle position who made it 26,000. Rined Namrood was in the cut off and made the call as the rest of the players folded behind him. The two players were heads up to the flop of {K-Clubs}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades} and both players checked to the turn of {4-Clubs} and this time Cox threw out a bet of 35,000 and Namrood made the call. The river fell a {6-Diamonds} and again Cox bet, this time 45,000. Namrood made a quick call.

Cox turned over {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} for top pair but it wasn’t good as Namrood had {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a busted flush draw but runner, runner two pair.

Namrood collected the pot and closes in on 600,000.

Ghezelbash's pair of tens was ahead and improved to trips on the {10-Hearts} turn.

Then a {3-Hearts} river completed the board and Flourentzou was on the rail.
