Kings Good for GooGie

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Edison ‘GooGieMonA’ Nguyen has just picked up a very nice double, courtesy of Mile Krstanoski.

When we arrived at the action, Nguyen was on the button and had an all in bet of 17,025 in front of him. Nguyen’s opponent, Krstanoski, was in the hijack. At this point 12,000 had already been raked into the middle of the pot. Krstanoski thought for quite some time and eventually made the call.

It was Nguyen’s {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} against Krstanoski’s {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out a safe {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}, giving Nguyen the flush and the double.

SkunkDen Over Six Figures

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Tristan ‘SkunkDen’ Bain has moved over six figures!

We recently watched Bain win some chips in a four-handed pot. It started with Bain opening it up to 1,600 preflop. The player on the button called, along with both players in the blinds. On the {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, it was checked to Bain, who bet 3,700. Only the player on the button would make the call and with that the dealer would flip over a {9-Clubs} turn. Bain led out for 7,800 here and that was enough to scoop the pot.

Bye Bye Tollgate

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Tom 'Tollgate' Grigg has been grinding the short stack for most of the day and now it has all come to an end.

Grigg's final hand saw him all in preflop holding {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} against {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Grigg was already up out of his seat as the dealer flipped over a {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades} flop.

The {6-Diamonds} turn meant Grigg was drawing deal, so the {8-Hearts} on the river did nothing to help him.
