Jie Gao just recalled to us the story behind the crippling blow that has left him with just 30,000 in chips.
Gao had pocket kings against Nathan Sawyers’ queen-jack, but a jack on the flop and another on the river gave Sawyers the double and left Gao in deep trouble.

Nathan Glase is the latest player to hit the rail. He was eliminated in 24th place.
All of Glase's chips went to Jazz Mathers.
It was a bit of a cooler.
Mathers was in the small blind holding , while Glase had .
Flop:
As you can imagine, all the chips went in here and with a turn and a river completing the board, Glase was sent home.
Mathers is up to well over 1 million and is the standout chip leader.

Two eliminations just occurred at almost the exact same time.
First Jim Doumit was eliminated in 23rd place.
Then moments later Daniel Neilson was out in 22nd place.
Neilson's elimination was quite brutal as he recalled to us what happened.
Apparently Neilson opened with a raise from under the gun holding . One opponent three-bet small, the big blind called and so did Neilson.
Neilson then flopped the nuts and a Royal Flush draw to go along with it - .
Neilson got his stack of around 260,000 in here and was looking good against .
The turn was a safe , but the river meant Neilson had ran into the full house to be eliminated.
