Drivsholm Maintains Pressure

Jeppe Drivsholm
Jeppe Drivsholm
From the button, Jeppe Drivsholm opened to 22,000 once again, but Mikael Rosen decided to make a stand and reraised to 62,000 from the small blind. Javed Abrahams folded his big blind before Drivsholm decided to move all in. Rosen was put to a decision for his tournament life, and with only about 270,000 behind he decided to let it go as Drivsholm continues to accumulate chips.

Abrahams Movin' on Up

Now that he has a few more chips, Javed Abrahams seems more willing to play pots. He raised to 25,000 from under the gun and was called by Kuok Wai Will Cheong on the button and Mikael Rosen from the big blind. All players checked the {9-Clubs} {J-Spades} {7-Hearts} flop. When the turn came {J-Clubs} and Rosen checked to him, Abrahams bet 45,000, enough to win the pot.

The action folded to So Myung Sim in the small blind, who decided to move all in for 103,000. Tian Chen asked for a count before making the call in the big blind.

Sim: {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Chen: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Sim couldn't find a pair to save himself as he becomes our ninth-place finisher, collecting $22,692 for his efforts in this tournament.

Huang Rebuilding

After doubling up Javed Abrahams for about 150,000 chips, Diwei Huang has gone right back to work accumulating more ammunition. After Abrahams raised to 25,000, Huang called in position. Edward Sabat also called, resulting in a three-way flop that came down {J-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. Sabat led into Abrahams for 35,000, quickly folding him. Huang, however, opted to make the call. Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn. When the river came {A-Diamonds}, Sabat checked again and then snap-folded to Huang's bet of 80,000.

Chua Wins Battle of Blinds

Charles Chua
Charles Chua
The action passed to Charles Chua in the small blind who raised to 30,000. Edward Sabat called in the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Chua checked to Sabat, who fired 20,000. Chua quickly called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Chua checked again to Sabat who checked behind. The river landed the {K-Hearts} and Chua led out for 45,000. Sabat gave his decision some thought before folding, as Chua took it down.

Huang Decides to Gamble

A strange hand has resulted in a double-up for Javed Abrahams. Action folded to Abrahams in late position, who put in the first raise. When action moved to Diwei Huang, he reraised to 65,000. That folded everyone else at the table back to Abrahams, who reraised all in for about 153,000 and prematurely opened his hand, showing {K-Spades} {K-Clubs}. Armed with this information, Huang elected to call anyway and showed {A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}, a hand that was roughly a 2-to-1 underdog to Abrahams' kings. The board ran out {6-Clubs} {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {Q-Clubs}, allowing Abrahams to double up to about 330,000.

Huang Maintains Lead and Momentum

Jeppe Drivsholm appears to be the most aggressive player at the table so far. He opened another pot with a raise to 22,000 from the cutoff and found a caller in Diwei Huang from the big blind.

The flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{K-Spades} was checked by both players. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Huang led out for 23,000. This was enough for Drivsholm to fold his hand and give another pot to our chip leader.

No Love for Abrahams Yet

Javed Abrahams
Javed Abrahams
Javed Abrahams waited 14 hands before getting involved in a pot. Jeppe Drivsholm opened for 22,000 from the button and Abrahams elected to call out of the big blind. He didn't want to go any further than the {K-Spades} {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} flop, however. He checked it over to Drivsholm and then folded after Drivsholm bet 27,000.

Huang Takes One From Rosen

Mikael Rosen raised to 25,000 from early position and Diwei Huang made the call. The table folded around and we saw a heads-up flop of {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Both players checked the flop and we saw a free turn card of {J-Hearts}. Rosen then fired out 30,000 and was quickly called by Huang.

The {Q-Spades} fell on the river and Rosen checked to Huang, who bet out 70,000. Rosen gave it up and Huang takes down a nice pot.

Please Welcome Kuok Wai Will Cheong to the Table

Kuok Wai Will Cheong is playing cautiously so far
Kuok Wai Will Cheong is playing cautiously so far
Kuok Wai Will Cheong has put his stamp on this final table. After Diwei Huang made it 30,000 to go and was called by Edward Sabat, Cheong reraised to 110,000 from big blind. Neither Huang nor Sabat wanted to get involved in a pot that big.
