Despite being the short stack at the table Lance Climo is determined not to go down without a fight.

Climo recently pushed from all in and after getting no takers, said, "Get used to it, there's a lot more of that coming".

He's sitting on about 200,000 at the moment.

Guitteau Gets Busy

Gerome Guitteau is getting rather active recently, as he's opened several pots in a row. When he raised to 42,000 from the hijack position he found some resistance from Jason Brown who made the call in the small blind.

They saw a {8-Hearts}

flop and Guitteau took it down with a bet of 82,000.

Assadourian is giving his fans something to cheer about

Assadour Assadourian is probably the third most popular player on the final table, behind locals Richard Lancaster and Lance Climo. He gave his cheering section something to be excited about when he took down a pot against Jason Brown recently.

Preflop, Jason Brown opened from the cutoff to 33,000 and Assadourian called from the big blind. They took a {10-Hearts}

heads up flop and both checked.

The {2-Diamonds}

hit the turn and Assadourian bet out 40,000 with Brown making the flat call. When the river {j-Spades}

hit Assadourian once again bet 40,000 and Brown made the call.

Assadourian tabled {A-Clubs}

and his fans cheered in delight as Brown mucked his hand.

flop, as well as the {k-Clubs}

turn and

river.

Sijia flipped over his {A-Clubs}

first and Shinzaki simply tossed his cards into the muck.

Lancaster Leads

Michael Shinzaki raised to 24,000 from early position and Richard Lancaster made the call in the hijack. The blinds folded and the two went to a flop of {2-Hearts}

Shinzaki checked and Lancaster fired 46,000. Shinzaki made the call and the turn fell the {Q-Hearts}

. This time Shinzaki came out firing with a bet of 94,000. Lancaster took his time before sliding out a call.

The river was the {3-Hearts}

and Shinzaki fired again, this time for 130,000. Lancaster again made the call. Shinzaki had obviously been caught with his hand in the cookie jar as he didn't showdown his cards and instead simply tossed them into the muck.

"Do I have to show?" asked Lancaster. The answer was no, so Lancaster raked in the huge pot without showdown! He's now over the 1 million chip mark and into the lead as Shinzaki slips to 350,000.

Lancaster Overpowers Climo

Lance Climo entered the pot with a raise to 29,000 from the hijack position.

"Oh sorry bro, I didn't realise it was your blind!" he said tongue firmly in cheek to Richard Lancaster in the big blind, but Lancaster responded with a call.

They took a flop of {4-Clubs}

and Lancaster led out for 34,000. Climo popped it up to 110,000 but before Climo's chips were in the middle, Lancaster declared himself all in! Climo gave it up and Lancaster is off to a great start here this afternoon. He's up to 700,000 with Climo back under 200,000.
