Michael Pedley Eliminated

Michael Pedley Eliminated
Preflop Michael Pedley pushed all in for 40,000 and Lance Climo instantly re-shoved. Everyone else folded and Pedley gave a knowing groan as he rolled over his {J-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

His instincts were right Lance Climo tabled {K-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} to make Climo a set and eliminated Pedley.

Climo is now up to 260,000.

Dennis Done

Dennis Huntly Eliminated
Dennis Huntly Eliminated
Dennis Huntly moved all in from under the gun for his last 31,500 and the action folded around to Simon Watt in the small blind who made the call.

Huntly: {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Watt: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Watt's pair holds up to eliminate Huntly from the tournament just short of the cash.

Brown Catches Wilson

Sean Wilson eliminated bluffing
Sean Wilson eliminated bluffing
Jason Brown has taken the chip lead in dramatic fashion.

The hand started out innocently enough with Brown opening from middle position and getting a call from Sean Wilson in the blinds.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Wilson checked to Brown who fired 20,000 chips. Wilson flat called and the turn was the {j-Hearts}.

On the turn Wilson check-called a 50,000 chip bet from Brown.

When the river {2-Hearts} fell off Wilson moved all of his chips in. After some in the tank Brown called and tabled {K-Spades}{4-Spades}.

It was a huge call that paid off with Wilson rolling over just {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a busted flush draw.

Wilson is out, and Brown moves up to 480,000.

Lucky John Stays Alive

John Cheung has had an up and down few minutes. First he doubled up Jason Mui in a preflop clash. Mui shoved for 31,000 with {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Cheung called in the big blind with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The board ran out {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to give Mui the double up.

A few moments later Cheung was all in for his last 22,300 with {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and in trouble against Richard Lancaster's {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. However the board ran out {6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to give "Lucky John" a miraculous straight to stay alive with 45,000 chips.
