David Allan Dusted

Jens Walther
Jens Walther
David Allan is done and dusted after betting all the way down with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} not realising that his opponent Jens Walther had flopped set of tens with {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} on a {10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop.

The last of Allan's chips went in on the {2-Hearts} turn and the river completed with the {2-Diamonds} to make Walther a boat.

Allan departs, while Walther moves up to 310,000.

A Happy Helmut

Helmut Waicane just let off a roar of delight that stopped the room. It came after he spiked an ace on the river to stay alive.

His last chips were committed on a {2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop against Anibal Lee. Waicane held {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flush draw as Lee's {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} were in front.

The turn was the {K-Clubs} but Waicane didn't need a flush when the {A-Hearts} fell to pair his ace to take down the pot, much to his delight. He's up to 52,000 chips.

Mike King Playing Them Like Fiddles

Mike King is keeping things interesting

Preflop, the player under the gun opened to 6,500 and Gerome Guitteau called from the hijack. Mike King then shoved his 30,800 chip stack all in from the blinds and began running the smack.

"Come on boys, double or triple me up," said King.

They both declined calling and folded their hands.

King rolled over {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. "Played you all like fiddles, I did," said King, laughing to himself.

Craker Gets Active

Daniel Craker
Daniel Craker
Daniel Craker is starting to flex his muscle. After raising a couple of pots in a row, he finally met some resistance when his 9,000-chip preflop raise was called on the button.

The flop fell {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Craker decided to check. His opponent bet 9,000 and Craker check-raised to 27,000 to take it down.

Craker is up to 125,000 chips.

Allan Boats Wijaya

Preflop, David Allan opened to 8,100 and Ronny Wijaya called out of the small blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Wijaya fired out 13,000. Allan flat called.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and Allan check-called a 17,000 chip bet. On the river {4-Diamonds} Wijaya went into the tank for a good while. Eventually he checked and Allan tanked before checking as well.

"Which pocket pair do you have?" asked Wijaya.

"Tens," said Allan, flipping over his {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Wijaya huffed and flipped over his {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Allan moves up to 120,000. Ronny Wijaya drops to about 90,000.

Macbeth Survives

Tim Macbeth has been battling a short stack for most of the last few levels but he's now just doubled up to keep his head above water.

Action folded to Macbeth in the small blind who shoved with {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} and his opponent in the big blind made the call with {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The board bricked {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs} to double Macbeth to 45,000 and cripple his opponent who was eliminated on the very next hand.
