Play Resumes

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

The cards are back in the air with the continuation of the 12,000-24,000 and 3,000-ante level.

Amourette Clips de Wolfe

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Roland de Wolfe opened to 52,000 with Antoine Amourette making the call from the big blind.

De Wolfe fired out a bet of 100,000 on the {7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop with Amourette making the call as the {K-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Amourette checked and de Wolfe fired out 165,000 only to have Amourette move all in for close to 1,000,000.

De Wolfe kicked his cards to the muck and Amourette collected the last pot before the break.

Aces for xMONSTERxDONGx

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis
Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis

Jonathan Karamalikis opened to 50,000 from under the gun only to have Peco Stojanovski three-bet to 125,000 from the cutoff.

Karamalikis made the call to see the {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop fall and Karamalikis check-call a 200,000-chip bet from Stojanovski.

When the turn landed the {5-Diamonds}, Karamalikis took the lead by firing out a bet of 160,000 with Stojanovski making the call before both players checked the {6-Diamonds} on the river.

Stojanovski tabled his {J-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, but it would be Karamalikis' {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} that would see him collect the pot and move to 2,550,000 in chips.

Stojanovski is now down to 595,000.

Karamalikis WIns Again with Jack-Seven

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

From the cutoff, Jonathan Karamalikis raised to 55,000. Roland de Wolfe called in the small blind and Eddy Sabat called in the big blind taking the three of them to the flop.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and action checked through to see the {5-Diamonds} roll off on the turn. De Wolfe was up first and fired 100,000. After Sabat folded, Karamalikis made the call.

The river card was the {5-Clubs} and paired the board. De Wolfe fired 125,000 and Karamalikis called quickly. "You got it," announced de Wolfe before showing the {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Karamalikis showed the {J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, the same hand he recently doubled up with.

"You're never folding jack-seven now," said Sabat with a smile.

Karamalikis moved to 1.95 million while de Wolfe dropped to 690,000.

Like a Boss

Jonathan Karamalikis

Action folded to Antoine Amourette in the small blind and he raised to 55,000, attacking Jonathan Karamalikis' big blind. Karamalikis defended with a call before the flop came down {J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Amourette slid out a bet of 66,000. Karamalikis raised him to 145,000. After a minute, Amourette asked how much Karamalikis had behind. That number was 595,000 and another few moments went by before Amourette moved all in. Karamalikis quickly called.

Karamalikis: {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Amourette: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The turn brought the {Q-Spades} and kept Karamalikis' two pair in front. The river hit with the {7-Spades} and paired the board, but it was one of the board pairs that gave Karamalikis a full house and kept his hand best. He won the pot and doubled to 1.6 million in chips. Amourette dropped back to 1.475 million.

"Like a boss, Jonno!" screamed his mate Ali Khalil from the rail. "Like a boss!"
