"Bada boom!" screamed Vakalahi as he happily collected the pot to move over the 100,000-chip mark.
Ardmore Vakalahi opened to 4,800 under the gun only to have William Woolsey three-bet to 13,500.
Vakalahi made the call but check-folded for 10,000 on the

flop as Woolsey flashed his
to climb to 65,000 as Vakalahi slips to 50,000 in chips.
Soren Smith-Hansen moved all in for his last 9,400 and Tom Grigg made the call from the button.
Smith-Hansen:

Grigg:

The board ran out

to see Smith-Hansen double through to 21,000 as Grigg slips to 250,000 in chips.
Richard Lancaster has been sent to the rail.
Holding
, Lancaster flopped a straight draw, turned a flush draw, but still managed to brick out against
to see last years fifth-place finisher unable to replicate his final table performance.
"Three more levels unless you can lose twenty-three more players!" announced APPT Tournament Director Danny McDonagh as the cards went back into the air.
Level: 12
Blinds: 1,000/2,000
Ante: 200
The remaining players are now on a 10-minute break.
Tom Grigg has just soared to the top of the leaderboard when he had an opponent all in holding
to be behind Grigg's
.
The board blanked out to see Grigg eliminate another opponent while moving to 264,000 in chips.
Normally one to make players and staff bust out in laughter, comedian Mike King has unfortunately made a dealer shed tears that weren't a result from a joke.
With his iPhone sitting on the table, the dealer called a Tournament Director over to explain that King wasn't allowed to have it on the table.
With the Tournament Director being informed that it was for music purposes only, the dealer continued that King swore at her and used a few expletives.
The Tournament Director resolved the situation and swapped the dealer out, and as the tournament on table 9 continued, the dealer in question was last seen making her way from the tournament being consoled as she wiped tears away from her eyes.
Aaron Sue entered the pot with a raise to 3,500 only to have Andrew Hinrichsen three-bet to 8,000.
With the action on Servio Briones, he four-bet to 20,000 to force a fold from Sue as Hinrichsen followed by moving all in for roughly 100,000. Briones instantly made the call to take us to a showdown.
Hinrichsen:

Briones:

Unfortunately for Hinrichsen, no miracle board would fall as he was left crippled with just 10,000 as Briones soars to 200,000 in chips.
Just a few hands later, Hinrichsen committed his remaining chips holding
, but couldn't best an opponent's
to see himself hit the rail.
