Young Continues to Surge

On a flop of {3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Spades} and faced with an all in for 16,200, Kim Gap Young made the call to put another opponent at risk.

Young: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The turn and river landed the {A-Diamonds} and {7-Diamonds} to see Young eliminate another opponent to climb to 154,000 in chips.

Huang Halted

Bryan Huang
Bryan Huang

Bryan Huang is the latest Team PokerStars Pro to hit the rail.

The Team Asia Pro committed the last of his chips holding {Q-}{J-} and was up against {A-}{Q-}. A {J-} on the flop was good news for Huang until an ace rolled off on the turn.

A blank landed on the river to see Huang's tournament end while leaving just two Team PokerStars Pro remaining; Joe Hachem (16,000 in chips) and Tony Hachem (35,000 in chips).

Aces for Honeybone

James Honeybone
James Honeybone

On a flop of {8-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Nathaneel Seet fired out a bet only to have James Honeybone bump it to 11,500 more.

Seet made the call before both players checked the {7-Hearts} on the turn.

When the river landed the {6-Clubs}, Seet checked and Honeybone fired out 17,000 to put Seet into the tank before eventually making the call.

Honeybone tabled his {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Seet mucked while slipping to 42,500 as Honeybone climbs to 115,000 in chips.

Hinrichsen Slips in Battle of the Blinds

In a battle of the blinds, Andrew Hinrichsen fired out 2,500 on the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} flop with his opponent in the big making the call.

Hinrichsen fired once again - this time for 5,100 - when the turn landed the {5-Clubs}. His opponent again made the call before both players checked the {6-Clubs} on the river.

Hinrichsen tabled his {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}, but it would be his opponent's {A-Spades}{4-Spades} that would collect the pot and see Hinrichsen slip to 160,000 while still holding the chip lead.

Edwards Exits

Luke Edwards found himself all in holding {8-}{8-} against Roger Spets' {K-}{K-}.

The flop brought a {k-}, and although Edwards managed to find a gutshot straight draw on the turn, he was unable to improve on the river and consequently found himself on the rail as Spets climbs to 90,000 in chips.

Glazier Gone

Jackie Glazier
Jackie Glazier

Jackie Glazier moved her last 13,575 into the pot from the hijack and found a caller in the small blind.

Glazier: {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop of {7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Spades} changed little, but when the {8-Spades} landed on the turn, Glazier took the lead.

Still needing to fade a nine, six or a four to stay alive, Glazier would unfortunately see the {6-Diamonds} peel on the river to end her tournament.

Marvanek Exits

Michael Marvanek found himself all in against two players.

Both the active players checked the {4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts} board down to see Marvanek table his {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a straight.

Unfortunately for him, one of his opponent's held {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for a flush to send the Macau-based Australian to the rail.

Short Break

The tournament is now on an impromptu break so that the Filipino-strong field can watch the closing rounds of the Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito fight.
