Rubie Getting Some Back
Brendon Rubie was down over half of his starting stack, but was able to pick up the following pot and chip back up a little bit to 17,000 or so. Here's how it happened.
The player under the gun raised to 600. Rubie flat-called on the button and the player in the big blind also called. The flop came down 
and action checked around.
After the 
fell on the turn, the big blind checked and the under-the-gun raiser bet 1,700. Rubie called and the big blind folded.
The 
completed the board on the river. The first player checked. Rubie tossed out a yellow T5,000 chip, but it was unclear the actual amount that he bet. At any rate, his opponent folded and Rubie picked up the pot.
