Grigg's Back!

Tom Grigg started the day very short, but he managed to turn things around and is now almost back up to the average. Grigg just raised under the gun +1 to 10,000, and Liam O'Rourke called directly to his left. Gary Benson was in the big blind, and he called as well.

The flop brought out {4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Grigg bet 14,500 after Benson had checked. O'Rourke folded after which Benson put Grigg all in. He called instantly.

Tom Grigg{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Gary Benson{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

Benson looked frustrated as he was almost drawing dead. The {10-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal, and the river was the meaningless {7-Clubs}.

Zalac Zooming Home; Bills Booming

Ivan Zalac was in middle position when he shoved all in for his short stack. Action then folded around to James Bills and he shoved his massive stack over the top. Ismail Ismail quickly got out of the way in the blinds and the two players would turn their hands over.

Bills{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Zalac{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

The {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop gave Zalac a sweat, but the {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Spades} on the river would be the end of his tournament life.

Another One For Benson

Gary Benson's been having quite the day so far, and he just took another pot from Haibo Chu.

On a {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop Chu bet 10,500 from the under-the-gun +2 position, and Benson was his only opponent on the button. Benson raised it up to 24,000 and Chu called.

The turn was the {7-Spades}, and both players checked. On the river the {9-Clubs} showed up, and Chu check-folded on a 53,000-chip bet from Benson.

Beluli Plummets, Bhasin Gets Lucky

PokerStars Team Online Roy Bhasin had only 55,000 chips left when he was just all in against Ilir Beluli. Beluli must've taken a big hit besides this pot, since his stack is no longer among the top of the leader board.

Ilir Beluli{Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Roy Bhasin{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and Bhasin stayed alive by hitting a lucky set.

Warner Hurting, Badly

Ashley Warner has just taken a huge hit to his stack, sending the majority of his chips to Gary Benson. The hand in question saw Warner all in preflop holding {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} against Benson's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. The board was nothing but bricks and with that Warner was left with a tiny stack of just a few big blinds.

Lars Out in 33rd

Lars Graf has recently been sent home a few places off the money. He was all in holding {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against Fenix Hsu's {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. No help came for Graf and he was sent home with no money for his efforts. With that, 32 players remain and we are down to just four tables of eight.

The Defending Champ Takes a Hit, Jindal Gets Stronger

Leo Boxell
Leo Boxell

Vineet Jindal's been having a killer level as he just doubled up again. Jindal raised under the gun to 12,000 and got three-bet by Benn Skender who was in the cutoff. Leo Boxell was on the button the defending APPT Melbourne champion four-bet to 100,000.

Both blinds folded, and Jindal moved all in for 116,500. All of this was getting too rich for Skender's pocket, and he quickly released his hand. Later he claimed to have folded pocket nines.

Leo Boxell{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Vineet Jindal{K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and Jindal doubled up. Boxell still has a good stack, and his chances of going back-to-back are still alive.
