Short-Stacked Cheong Doubles

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Action folded to Casey Kastle in the cutoff and he raised to 1,300. Joseph Cheong called from the big blind and the flop came down {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

Cheong went all in for 1,150 and Kastle called after a few moments.

Cheong: {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Castle: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The {5-Diamonds} turn and {10-Spades} river were no help to Castle, giving Cheong a little breathing room with a 14bb stack.

Hayamizu Applying Pressure

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
Manami Hayamizu
Manami Hayamizu

With over 6,000 already in the pot, Manami Hayamizu and two other players took a flop of {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Both players checked to Hayamizu who fired out 2,050 from the button. The first player flat called while the next player released his hand.

Action was heads up to fourth street which brought the {10-Hearts}. Hayamizu's opponent checked for a second time which prompted her to bet out 4,000. Hayamizu's opponent tanked for about thirty seconds before finally deciding to release his hand. Hayamizu picked up the pot and she's now sitting on about 43,000.

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Action folded around to the player in the cutoff who opened with a raise to 750. The player on the button flat called and action was on David Steicke in the small blind. He peeked at his cards and then moved out a three-bet to 3,250. Both of his opponents let go and Steicke was pushed the pot.

Grafton Gone

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We missed the action, but Sam Grafton was kind enough to recap his final hand for us.

The player under the gun opened with a raise and the next two players to act called. Grafton shipped his short stack all in and the original raiser called. The player under the gun plus one folded but the next player called as well.

Grafton: {Q-}{J-}
Under the Gun: {10-}{10-}
+2: {J-}{J-}

Grafton paired his queen on the river but it was all for naught as the player under the gun turned a third ten and scooped the pot. Grafton was eliminated from play and is currently having a good time railing Joseph Cheong who is also sporting a short stack.
