Li Gets Paid Off

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Aaron Lim is among the participants of the High Roller Event, seated on a table with "Red Dragon" winner Yuguang Li. The latter already boasts more than three times the starting stack and a large portion of that came off a 50,000-bet and call on the river of a {2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs} board.

Li showed {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a set of jacks and scooped the big pot.

Smith With the Nuts

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Asa Smith got involved in a three-way pot and called a continuation bet on a flop of {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs} before the {Q-Clubs} on the turn was checked through by everyone. On the {7-Clubs} river, the sole remaining opponent of Smith bet 25,000 and Smith put her all in for 70,000 to receive a call and a muck when the Brit showed his {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the nuts.

Higgs Receives Warm Welcome

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Sam Higgs just saw down in the High Roller Event and faced a raise to 2,600 and a call before squeezing to 11,000. Both his opponents made the call to see a flop of {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. The initial raiser check-called a 17,000-bet by the Australian while the other opponent got out of the way.

Both the {3-Clubs} turn and the {J-Hearts} river were then checked down and Higgs showed his {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} first, ending up second-best to the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} of the opponent. Oops.

Guess Hu is Back?

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

After a flop of {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Jack Hu check-raised from 10,000 to 25,000 into a pot of 12,000 and his opponent folded. It wasn't much of a hand, but gave us the opportunity to update the chip count of the 50K runner-up.

Already Bigger Than 2014

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

There have been two seat open within the first three levels and pretty much all of the Satellite qualifiers are now seated to see the participation rise to 65 entries. On top of that, 13 rebuys have already been purchased to make for at least 78 bullets!

O'Dwyer Runs Well

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

While walking through the 6-Max Side Event area to get back to the computer and then checking for the other tables, Steve O'Dwyer has added another 60,000 chips to his stack.

The Irish-American was then involved in a three-way limped pot to see a flop of {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. From the cutoff, one of his opponents bet 5,000 and O'Dwyer was the only one to call before the {4-Spades} fell on the turn. This time the action was checked to O'Dwyer and his bet of 7,000 took down the pot.

Just after the hand was finished, Tom Alner sat down after late-registering the event.

Up to Six Rebuys

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The screens show 41 out of 42 players remaining and six rebuys purchased shortly after the start of the third level, of which Geoffrey Mooney took one.

The Satellite also just finished and Yaxi Zhu was the unfortunate bubble girl.
