The player in the big blind had checked prompting Gab Yong Kim to bet out 20,100 from hijack. With the decision back on the big blind, he went into the tank for several minutes.
After three minutes the player stood up from his chair and stared down the board before staring down Kim. All the while, Kim casually sat in his chair looking back at his opponent.
Eventually time was called. With 10 seconds left the player chose to muck, exposing his to Kim. Kim then responded by tossing his face up onto the table, showing off his bluff.
Kim now moves up to 100,000 in chips following the hand.
After the flop came down Yifan Zheng and Geng Liu checked from the blinds before Wing Cheong Chong bet out 3,000. Both players made the call before the dealer rolled over the on the turn. A round of checks followed and then the appeared on the river.
Zheng then reached for his chips and bet out 7,000 which was enough to take down the pot as Liu and Chong mucked their hands.
The tables 25 and 22 have been removed from play as only 171 participants had remained, but since the screens updated and now only show 162 left. Unfortunately there are no media cards, so it will be somewhat difficult to know who busted in the first level but we'll do our best to cut down the list.
After a raise by Longjie Li, Chen Zhi Yan got his remaining few chips in and Yanzhong Tong also called out of the blinds. They checked down the flop and Li then bet the turn for 10,000 with Tong check-folding. Li flipped over but Yan's held up thanks to a brick on the river.
The cards of Yue Wang were already in the muck but he had tried to knock out Justin Pak Kwan Chan with and the latter was more than happy to call off for his remaining stack with the . The board ran out and Chan doubled. His countryman Gab Yong Kim also more than doubled his initial stack from today.
Arriving on the river of a board, Dapeng Mu led for 10,000 out of the small blind and Yanzhong Tong reluctantly called from two seats over as initial preflop aggressor. Mu flipped over for two pair after a huge draw on the flop and table neighbor Ronald Chun Long Yu nodded with the words "good flop, very good flop."
At the start of Day 2, some players had showed up with red chips that were not yet introduced into the tournament before. Those are worth 25,000 and one or two may make a huge difference at the current stage.
Picking up the action on a flop of , Qu Liu led for 1,700 out of the small blind and Zhifeng Yao min-raised to 3,400. His opponent called to see the on the turn. Liu check-raised from 5,100 to 13,600 and was called by Yao to see the river complete the board.
Liu checked and Yao now fired 18,200 in a last attempt to steal the pot. To the surprise of everyone on the table, Liu made the call and tabled as the winner!!! Yao had been caught bluffing with .
Henrik Tollefsen had already shoved once from early position to pick up the blinds and antes without showdown. The second time didn't go as smooth, as the Norwegian lost a coin flip and notified his Twitter followers about the unfortunate outcome.
Hui Wang moved all in for his remaining 15,000 from under the gun as the action folded around to Milton Wayne Trickey on the button. He called before the players in the blinds got out of the way.
