Heads-Up on the ₱20,000 Megastack Final Table

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

With three players left, Ming Hong Teoh was all-in and at risk as he was called by Tzai Wei Phua.

Ming Hong Teoh: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Tzai Wei Phua: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

"No ace!" Phua shouted and his rail agreed with him.

The dealer dealt the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} on the flop to give Teoh a pair of aces.

The turn brought them the {4-Spades} and Phua and his rail cheered loudly.

The {5-Clubs} on the river didn't change the situation as Teoh was eliminated from the tournament in third place.

Phua is now heads-up against Yisha Chen for the first-place prize and the PSPC Platinum Pass. Chen has some work to do though as she's nursing a stack of 4,935,000 while Phua is sitting comfortably with a chip lead with 14,630,000 in chips.

Lau Loses Some

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Alan Lau raised to 1,200 from the cutoff and was called by the player in the big blind.

They both checked through the {10-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} on the flop and the {2-Diamonds} on the turn to the {9-Spades} on the river. Lau's opponent now bet 2,000 and Lau reluctantly called after checking the clock out a few times. His opponent tabled {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped pair of tens and that was enough to make Lau muck.

The board read {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and an opponent moved all in for around 20,000 into a pot that had approximately 80,000 in it. Meng Ignatius thought for a few moments before making the call and both players turned over their hands.

Ignatius flipped over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for an overpair to the board and his opponent showed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for an ace kicker to go with the two-pair on the board. His opponent missed as the river fell the {4-Clubs} and Ignatius pumped his fist as his tens held on to take down the pot, adding to his chip lead.
