Mamiya No More

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Alex Lee was sitting on a very healthy stack of more than two times the average and Shogo Kimura had joined the table along with Norihiro Otani. No longer seated on table two is Ruiko Mamiya, who was eliminated. According to Lee, she three-bet to 9,000 and received one caller to jam a {q-}{3-}{3-} flop. Mamiya jammed with ace-king and ran straight into a flopped queens full house.

Kamata Takes Down the Pot with Quads

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player on the button moved all in for 23,800, Yuji Kamata called in the small blind and the two turned over their hands.

Button: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Yuji Kamata: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Kamata was looking very good to take down the pot. A {k-Spades} fell on the turn, giving Kamata quads and his opponent was now drawing dead to the {3-Diamonds} on the river.

Keisuke Hikosaka got his last 21,400 in preflop with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} against the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} of Japanese pop singer Hiroki Moriuchi and spiked a set on the board {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} to double.

Shortly after, Yoshihiko Ishidomaru moved all in for 19,000 in the cutoff and was called by the button. Razvan Bengulescu jammed for 44,800 in the big blind and the button called to put two players at risk.

Yoshihiko Ishidomaru: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Razvan Bengulescu: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Button: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

"Just a king, that's all I want," Bengulescu said and his wish was granted on a board of {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.
