Mamiya Jams Up Her Stack

Alex Lee opened to 1,300 and Xiaobo Zhou in the small blind three-bet to 3,000, which Ruiko Mamiya in the big blind and Lee called. The flop came {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Zhou checked, which prompted a bet of 5,000 by Mamiya. That forced out Lee and Zhou came along.

No betting action took place on the {8-Spades} turn and Zhou led for 5,000 on the {6-Diamonds} river. Mamiya wasted very little time before moving all in for 27,000 and that forced a fold from Zhou,

Tetsuya Enoki bet the river of a completed board of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for 4,000 and received a call to reveal {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the nut straight as the winning hand. While Enoki has a very healthy stack, fellow countryman Iori Yogo was spotted leaving his chair from one table over after losing a hefty pot.

Yogo can still re-enter, however, as a single re-entry per day is allowed until the start of level 10.

Chuanshu Chen opened to 1,600 from late position, Celina Lin called in the cutoff and button player suck around as well. The dealer spread out {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} on the flop, Chen bet 1,600 and only the button opponent called.

An {8-Hearts} came down on the turn, both players checked and the {5-Clubs} fell on the river. Chen bet out 6,200 and his opponent folded, sending the pot to Chen on the river.
