Another Big Pot for Tran

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The players are not sigh of putting chips in the middle, as they played a couple more-than-3M pots already during heads-up.

The two last big pots went Tran. In a board of {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Diamonds} Tran check-called twice in the flop and the turn, for 500,000 and 1,000,000 respectively, to get a check back in the river from Ledina.

Tran opened {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} which was enough to give him the pot, as Ledina mucked.

Ace-High Gives 3M-Chip Pot to Tran

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Benigno Jr Ledina opened to 300,000 from the button and Linh Tran three-bet to 900,000. Ledina called, creating an 2M-chip pot, and the flop came {4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} with both players checking.

The {10-Hearts} on the turn brought two more checks, and the {q-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

This time Tran put out of his stack, and into the pot, a bet at 950,000 chips. Ledina called but mucked when he saw Tran's {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for ace-high.

Lee Wang Yong Eliminated in 3rd Place (₱1,602,000; $31,393)

Lee Wang Yong is the player that eliminated in third place, sending the APPT National to heads-up, after a massive pot created by him and Benigno Jr Ledina.

Linh Tran opened to 250,000 from the button, Ledina called, and Lee Wang Yong announced all in from the big blind. Tran folded, and Ledina tanked for almost four minutes before announcing call, to make the rail erupt. Yong and Ledina were the only two players with a rail around the table, and what a loud rail it was!

The two players opened their cards, and it was then that everybody in the rail started asking for cards.

Lee Wang Yong: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Benigno Jr Ledina: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}

"King, queen, jack", said someone from Yong's rail, while Ledina's rail was asking for a four.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, and Ledina was now a favorite. The Philippine's native player couldn't even watch the unfolding of the hand, so he turned his back to the table, and had his rail informing him about the cards that were coming.

The {3-Clubs} on the turn didn't change anything, and now "King Dragon", as was the name that his friends were calling Yong, needed an ace or a ten to stay alive.

The {8-Hearts} on the river brought celebrations to Ledina's rail who won a massive all in for more than 60 big blinds to send the event in heads-up.

Tran Makes His Counterattack

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Linh Tran took the iniative in the final table, during the last couple of hands. In the last one, he raised from the button to 250,000 and got calls from both blinds.

The flop came {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}, and Tran bet 375,000 after both the blinds checked. He found a caller only in Medina's face, and the {j-Clubs} hit the turn. This time Tran bet 650,000 after his opponent's check, which was enough to make him fold.

Ledina Attacks Tran

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Benigno Jr Ledina is using his huge stack to accumulate more chips, and so far has centered his attention in the second biggest stack of the field, Linh Tran's.

In the last hand, Ledina three-bet from the big blind to 600,000 Tran's open from the small blind, and Tran called to see the flop.

The first three cards were {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} and both players checked.

The {7-Spades} hit the turn and Ledina bet 850,000 with Tran calling quickly.
