In a battle of shorter stacks, Adrien Tantaro had the best of it with the A♥K♦. He faced an opponent with the slightly inferior stack and worse ace, exposing the A♦Q♦. The 8♥6♣3♠8♦9♣ board ensured that the kicker played and Tantaro's stack indeed covered.
Picking up the action on the K♠8♣4♦ flop, Florent Remi check-raised from 4,000 to 15,000 and was called by Seunghun Ko. That led them to the A♠ turn on which Remi check-called for 21,000 to see the 8♦ on the river.
Remi checked once more and Ko now pushed all-in for around 60,000. That covered the Frenchman, who sigh-called it off after two minutes. Ko tabled 4♣4♠ for a full house and the A♦5♦ of Remi were just briefly shown.

Having defended his big blind against a cutoff raise by Xiao Hua Fu, Trent Fechter got it in with the J♣4♣ for second pair on the Q♥J♥8♠ flop. He was in dire shape against Fu's Q♣J♠ and tapped the table in defeat after the 3♥ turn as a meaningless 2♣ river ended his run.
Pete Chen jammed for the last 15,000 and was called by Grant Gardner in the big blind.

The K♥Q♥3♥ flop was a tease with the open-ender but Chen missed out on the 5♠ turn and K♣ river.

With nearly similar stack sizes involved, Julian Salvesen got it in preflop holding the A♠K♦. Jeremy Jehanne tabled the A♣A♦ and had little to fear on a 9♥8♠8♦3♦K♣ runout.
Toshio Kataoka three-bet jammed into the open raise of a shorter-stacked Xixiang Luo and the latter called only to find himself dominated.

There was no help on the K♣K♥8♦9♥K♥ board as the superior full house of Kataoka was good enough to knock out Luo.
On a flop of 10♦9♠4♦, Enzo Vellucci notably announced his check and Guy Taylor then bet 11,000 for his opponent to call.
"Still checking," Vellucci declared on the Q♣ turn and Taylor responded with a "still betting" before making it 12,000 to go, which Vellucci called once more.
Taylor then exclaimed "not betting anymore" after the K♥ river and was somewhat upset when Vellucci tabled the J♦10♠ for a straight.
