Qiyuan Huang
Qiyuan Huang

Qiyuan Huang jammed for the last 37,500 and Jiazhi Zhong called from one seat over. Haisheng Qiu then reraised to 70,000 and was forced to min-raise to 75,000. Zhong went deep in the tank and called to leave himself just 30,000 behind.

On a flop of A104, Zhong checked and Qiu jammed with the covering stack to force a reluctant fold from Zhong.

Qiyuan Huang: A10
Haisheng Qiu: 99

The K turn and A river gave Huang a triple up while Qiu earned the side pot.

Choi's Roller Coaster Commences Again

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jennifer Cassell
Jennifer Cassell

Hun Tae Choi clashed with Jin Woo Kim and bet-jammed for 49,000 on the 985 flop for Kim to call with the covering stack.

Hun Tae Choi: J7
Jin Woo Kim: 98

"Flush draw, straight draw," an excited Choi yelled but the flush draw only came on the 3 turn. No heart but the 6 river came to the rescue as Choi celebrated a double.

He was then all-in soon after with the superior stack, looking up Jennifer Cassell for 61,000.

Cassell had her AK already exposed and Choi glanced at her, seemingly asking for permission to start his show again. He then grabbed his cards, smashed them in the middle of the table and yelled "pocket tens", revealing 1010.

The 842 flop gave Cassell the flush draw on top and she improved with the K turn and A river. Choi took it well when Cassell now leaped out of her seat to do a little happy dance as players from nearby tables clapped.

To top it off, Choi won the next all-in showdown to win back some chips.
