Ting-Yi Tsai made it 55,000 to go in the cutoff and Evgenii Nekrasov then three-bet 150,000 on the button. Hua-Wei Lin jammed out of the small blind and Tsai asked for a count. The shove was for 910,000 and Tsai folded with "I made the biggest lay down" after which Nekrasov snap-folded, too.

Philip Tan raised to 80,000 and it folded to Chao-Ting Cheng in the big blind, who was surprised by the large open raise.
"Non GTO," Tan replied and Cheng then called.
On the K♦J♣8♠ flop and 6♦ turn, no betting action followed. Cheng bet the 10♠ river for 75,000 and Tan called. Cheng showed the A♠4♠ and Tan won the pot with the 7♦7♥.
Jun Lai was then given a warning as he had already mucked his cards while Tan had not yet raised.
Bien Mai made it 40,000 to go in the hijack and he called a three-bet to 110,000 by Jimmy Torres in the cutoff.
The 9♣6♣4♥ flop was checked by Mai and he then called a bet of 75,000 by Torres.
Following the 7♦ turn, both players checked and the 10♣ river completed the board.
Mai now bet 150,000 and he instantly called Torres' raise to 500,000. The Colombian revealed A♣K♣ for the nuts once again and dragged in a big pot.
Hua-Wei Lin three-bet out of the blinds to get called by table big stack Ting-Yi Tsai, which led them to the 9♥8♠5♣ flop. Lin continued for 175,000 and Tsai called as both then checked the 10♠ turn.
On the 9♦ river, Lin checked and Tsai's bet worth 275,000 won the pot uncontested.
Right after that, Evgenii Nekrasov raised to 45,000 and Lin three-bet to 140,000. Nekrasov jammed for 980,000 and Lin folded once more.
Ting-Yi Tsai opened the action with a raise and he quickly called the shove by Andy Li for the last 270,000 from the very next seat.

The 6♣4♦2♣ flop changed nothing yet while Tsai then picked up a flush draw on top of his two overcards on the A♣ turn. Sure enough, it was the cruel 10♣ river that improved Li to a set while Tsai made the flush to knock out yet another opponent.
A big flip unfolded over on table two as Lukasz Jankowski was all-in for 390,000 against Hua-Wei Lin.

Heads-up to a flop of A♦J♣9♣, Kien Tat Heng bet-called the shove by Asish Ghosh on the button for 310,000 to set up the next all-in showdown during a frantic period of the tournament.

Heng was ahead with his top pair, while Ghosh had an open-ended straight draw and backdoor clubs. Nothing changed with the J♦ turn and 6♣ river to reduce the field to just 13 hopefuls.
Down to just 105,000, Lev Kydatov moved all-in from the hijack and earned three folds thereafter. Jun Lai in the big blind asked for an exact count and then made the call after a couple of seconds of consideration.

Lai vaulted out of his chair to film the showdown with his smart phone. The Q♣6♣2♣ flop left Kydatov drawing dead, making the K♥ turn and A♥ river a formality.
Lai giggled a "nice hand, nice hand," and sat back down with a smile.
Lev Kydatov had doubled through Chao-Ting Cheng in the previous hand before both got their short stacks into the middle once more, this time with Cheng at risk.
