What a Start for Wong!

We're only ten minutes into the day and Steve Wong has already doubled up twice. First he opened all in from the button for 15,000 and was called by the big blind. It was an "oops!" moment for Wong, with his {10-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} an underdog to the big blind's {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}. Missing the first four board cards, {7-Clubs} {6-Spades} {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} was no problem for Wong, even despite the fact that his outs to a pair of tens were dead. Wong spiked the {3-Spades} on the river to double up to 31,000.

Just two hands later, Wong was all in again, this time was {A-Spades} {8-Spades} against a different big blind's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}. That player paired queens on a flop of {10-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {5-Clubs} but Wong still wasn't sweating. He went {4-Spades} on the turn and {3-Spades} on the river (again!) to make the nut flush and double up to 64,000.
